looking to run more than 15 miles, I arrived at 4:30am at the rillito river trail, I had not ran this trail this early in over 3 years, and I forgot how dark it really is, good thing I had my flashlight. As I began to run under the Campbell bridge, I heard some noises and it was the swarm of bats that live under the bridge. Instead I decided to run across campbell. For some reason all these bats meet up at this bridge? I didnt run much, I was more amazed at all the bats. I waited for the rest of the runners to arrive at 6:00am and we ran 5 miles together. My total distance covered was 9 miles.
